Bing Places: give Bing searchers the right address and hours

Bing Places for Business is Bing's free listing for your locations. It's what people see when they find you in Bing search or on Bing Maps, so it should get them to the right door at the right time.

What's different on Bing

Start from your Google profile, then check Bing on its own

Bing lets you import your Google Business Profile, and Bing says the import can verify your listing straight away. It's the quickest way in if your Google details are already right.

After the import, your Bing listing is a separate listing in Bing's own portal. Look at it there, and check it again whenever your hours or phone number change.

Your questions

What Bing offers, and what we check with you

  1. Which business details matter most?

    On Bing

Your business name, hours and contact details. Restaurants can add a menu link or an online order link.

    In your Obenan setup

We confirm which details your setup sends to Bing, and you check them on the Bing listing itself. Saved in a dashboard is not the same as shown to customers.

  2. Can I add photos?

    On Bing

Yes. Bing's listing tools prompt you to add photos that help people recognize you.

    In your Obenan setup

We confirm whether your setup can send photos to Bing. Use pictures you have the rights to, like your entrance or shopfront.

  3. Can I read and reply to reviews?

    On Bing

Bing's owner guidance covers your details, photos and links. It doesn't describe replying to reviews on Bing.

    In your Obenan setup

If reviews appear beside your listing, check which site they come from. A reply belongs on that site, and we confirm what your setup covers there.

  4. What do I need to get started?

    On Bing

Sign in at bing.com/forbusiness. Bing Places is free, and you can start from your Google profile or add your business yourself.

    In your Obenan setup

Someone who can manage your listings, and a check that each location matches the right Bing listing. We then confirm which locations and details your setup covers.

Two doors, one set of facts

Customers at your physical door.AI agents at your digital door.

Right details on Bing mean fewer wasted trips: people arrive when you're open, at the entrance you actually use.

Bing also answers questions with AI, and accurate details are useful preparation for that. A Bing listing still doesn't let an AI agent buy from you: that takes a separate connection you authorize, and payment stays with your payment provider.
