Tripadvisor: help guests decide before they travel

Travelers use Tripadvisor to compare places before they go. Your listing shows them what you're like, and your responses show them how you treat guests.

What's different on Tripadvisor

Every response is checked before guests see it

On Tripadvisor your reply is called a management response, and it isn't instant. Tripadvisor checks each one first, and you get one response per review.

Asking guests to write a review is fine here. Offering anything in return isn't.

Diagram: a management response moves through three steps, draft, submitted for checking, and published under the review.
  1. Draft

You write one response to the review. Leave out guests' names and other personal details.

  2. Submitted

Tripadvisor checks it against its response guidelines before anyone sees it.

  3. Published

It appears under the review. To change it later, delete it and submit a new one.

A response that breaks the guidelines is rejected instead of published, so it never appears.

Two doors, one set of facts

Customers at your physical door.AI agents at your digital door.

Clear details and thoughtful responses help a guest choose you from far away, and arrive knowing what kind of place you are.

Your listing and responses help people compare places. A Tripadvisor listing doesn't let an AI agent book or buy from you: reservations and checkout need their own connection that you authorize.
