Most of a drive is easy. The last few hundred metres decide whether a driver pulls into your car park or ends up circling. On Waze, three things matter at the end: the last turn, the access road and the entrance.
The last turn: the route has to leave the main road at the right junction, not one street early or late.
The access road: the lane into your car park has to be on the map, or the route can stop on the main road.
The entrance: your place should sit at the car park entrance drivers use, not in the middle of the building.
What matters
You can add a place to Waze in the app or in the Waze Map Editor. Where an area is locked, you suggest an edit and a local map editor reviews it.
Waze also says place details updated on Google Maps generally show up in Waze search and place details. So your Google profile and the Waze map both matter.
Drive the last stretch yourself, or ask a regular, and look at where the route ends.
Practical questions
Add or edit it in the Waze app or the Waze Map Editor. In a locked area your edit is a suggestion that a local map editor reviews.
Waze says data updated on Google Maps will generally be reflected in Waze search and place details. Roads and lanes are edited on the Waze map itself.

Usually the access road or the place position is off. Check both in the Waze Map Editor and suggest an edit for the one that is wrong.
